These Website Standard Terms and Conditions written on this webpage shall manage your use of our website, Swadesh Grocery accessible at swadeshgrocery.ca.

Your Privacy

Return and Refund Policy

Due to Covid, we are not accepting any return from online orders at this time.

Your Satisfaction is Very Important to US!
We are so certain that you will be satisfied with our products and service, that we offer a 14-day return policy. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, return* it to us within 14 days for a 100% refund of the original product price.

RETURN

At swadeshgrocery.ca, customer satisfaction is our top priority!. If you feel that the product you received is damaged in any way or if you are not 100% thrilled with the items received, please contact us immediately at info@swadeshgrocery.ca to request a refund.

You must notify us within 14 days of your order receiving date to initiate a return. After 14 days the item is yours and cannot be returned. All merchandise returned must be in NEW & UNUSED condition.
Any items purchased with a coupon code or clearance are not eligible for return.

Additional non-returnable items:
Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Items on sale are considered as final sale.
Any opened item or products brought in error will not be accepted for return.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as produce, dairy , food or flowers), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

REFUNDS

Refunds will be promptly credited back to your credit card. In the event you ordered by check, a credit will be issued against future purchases. All return orders must be approved and returned with an RMA, (return merchandise authorization).
Typically refunds are processed within 24-48 hours. Please note, it may take an additional 2-3 days for your financial institution to reflect the refund credit back on your account.

We can only refund shipping fees if the return was a result of our error.

Refund Status (if applicable)

Refunds can take up to 14 days to post back to your original payment method.

If you paid for your order via credit card and have not received your refund yet, please contact your credit card company to inquire on the status of the refund.
If it has been at least 14 business days and you have contacted your credit card company, and still not received your refund yet, then please contact us at hello@southindiangrocery.com.

CANCELING AN ORDER

Contact us at info@swadeshgrocery.ca. If your order has not been shipped or left our warehouse facility, we can process the cancellation right away. When the cancellation is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation email.
Unfortunately, swadeshgrocery.ca will not be able to cancel an order if it has already shipped out of our warehouse facility. In order to offer our customers fast delivery, most orders are released from our facility within 24 hours of the order placement.

Prior returned authorization must be obtained and product must be returned un-used and in original packaging to get full refund.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@swadeshgrocery.ca

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

SHIPPING POLICY

​At swadeshgrocery.ca we charge only the minimum shipping rate necessary to provide unbeatable products and service on every order.

We also ship most orders via Swadesh Delivery and Rationpani.

Shipping Cost

* Free shipping on orders over $50 for Milton, ON. Free shipping on orders over $75 for Greater Toronto Areas, Kitchener, London and Waterloo areas.
* Flat $5.00 shipping cost on orders below $50.

We reserve the right to limit quantities of items based on weight and shipping location.

Please verify that you have entered the correct shipping information, including suite and apartment numbers, or you may be charged a $10.00 penalty.

Please note that if your package is returned by the shipper as “undeliverable,” you are responsible for both the outgoing and incoming shipping charges, unless the mistake was our oversight.

Order Fulfillment

Please note from time to time product packaging is modified with the resulting changes not immediately updated in the online product photo.
The product attributes such as size, quantity, form and/or origin will always be consistent with the online photo and description.

We process, pack and ship all orders within 48 hours of receipt. If there is a problem with your order, someone from our customer service team will contact you immediately.

Out of stock or back ordered items

It is possible that your order may have items that are currently back ordered or out of stock, in such cases it is our policy to ship out comparable alternatives. We may notify you regarding such changes via e-mail or call you in reference to them.

If you do not want any substitutes, kindly leave a note to that effect in your order instructions or once you receive our message you have 24 hours to let us know that the changes are not to your liking. If alternatives are not suitable, we can refund the missing items instead.

Note: We have no affiliation with any brand and we don’t swap items to promote one brand over another.
We love our customers and would be happy to refund for any inconvenience caused due to this substitution policy.

We are committed to making sure you have a delightful shopping experience. Our top priority is making sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase.

We accept returns for a refund or store credit within 14 days of delivery, for all products with the exception of our fresh produce and frozen products. We are unable to accept returns for fresh produce and frozen products, however, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us so we can make it right. For other returns, return shipping costs may apply, and the item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted.

Our Return Authorization Process

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to obtain a return authorization number. We cannot accept returns without a return authorization number.

Once a return is authorized, we will refund your payment, less any shipping charges. If you received free shipping on your purchase, we will deduct the shipping fees we had to incur to ship the products to you.

Please return authorized orders in their original form and packaging. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

We must receive the return within 14 days from the day the return authorization was issued. We reserve the right to reject any returns and exchanges that do not meet these conditions.

Refund Options

You can choose to receive store credit for your return or have the original payment method refunded. Any associated return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Curbside Pickup

The fastest way to shop is through easy and contactless curbside pickup at our fulfillment store. You can expect your order to be ready within the next day. We require no minimum order for curbside pickup.

All of our products are available for local curbside pickup including frozen, refrigerated, and fresh items. We keep frozen and refrigerated items prepared and ready for pickup in our state-of-the-art freezer and cooler until the customer arrives for pick up to ensure that it is kept at the optimal temperature at all times.

Indemnification

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent Gofarm from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

Variation of Terms

Swadesh Grocery is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.

Assignment

The Swadesh Grocery is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Swadesh Grocery and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
